Terms & Conditions
Effective date: April 2026
1. Acceptance
By accessing or using CycloScout ("the Service"), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Service immediately.
2. Service Provided As-Is
CycloScout is offered as is and as available, without warranties of any kind — express or implied — including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. The Service may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time without notice.
3. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator of CycloScout accepts no liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your access to or use of the Service, including but not limited to data loss, route inaccuracies, service interruptions, or decisions made based on information provided by the Service. Use the Service at your own risk and always exercise independent judgement when planning cycling routes.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service solely for its intended purpose: exploring, enriching, and saving cycling routes. You must not:
- Upload, transmit, or store any malicious, harmful, illegal, or offensive content, including viruses, malware, or material that violates applicable law or third-party rights.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, its infrastructure, or other users' data.
- Scrape, crawl, or otherwise harvest data using automated tools without prior written permission.
- Use the Service to impersonate another person or entity, or to engage in fraudulent activity.
- Circumvent or interfere with any security, authentication, or access control mechanism.
5. Third-Party Integrations
CycloScout integrates with external services (including Strava, Supabase, OpenAI, and others). Your use of those services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. CycloScout is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of third-party services.
6. Changes to These Terms
These Terms may be updated at any time. Material changes will be communicated where reasonably practicable. Continued use of the Service after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
7. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in the operator's jurisdiction of establishment.
